I’d rather not have any of the main characters of the appropriate fandom die in one of the stories.

If someone feels embarrassed or humiliated, I have a tendency to pick up on that feeling and feel bad as well. I’d rather not have that feeling while reading a story for fun.

Please keep the characters in their original genders: don’t turn canonically-male characters into females in the story or vice versa

Please no story with same-sex attraction or sex between two males

No watersports, scat, or other mention of urine or semen outside the body, please.

second-person POV

I prefer third-person POV (“Paul said …”) and am okay with first-person POV (“Then I told him …”), but please no stories written from a second-person point-of-view (“As your eyes meet hers…”)

the word “orbs” for eyes

This is an odd one. It’s simply a big turn-off to me to read that word.

AUs and Crossovers

I’d generally prefer the world of the story to be fairly similar to that of the original fandom, so I’m wary of alternate-universe stories (Harry Potter works in a pizza parlor, Little Red Riding Hood fights vampires in space, …). But if it’s well-done and it’s where your muse leads you, go for it!

I’d also generally prefer not to have Crossovers (except where mentioned below) – no Sherlock Holmes on the bridge of the Enterprise or Aragorn fighting alongside Robin Hood. Kind of goes along with the AU thing, but also, I haven’t consumed a whole lot of fandoms, so many crossovers might go completely over my head as I won’t recognise the characters (who are Sam and Dean? no clue). If in doubt, please ask through the mods.

A/B/O or general omegaverse

General likes

In general, I think I like gen or het, with the occasional f/f. I haven’t read much PWP but would be interested to see what a good PWP story would look like.

If you do include sexual intercourse, I’d prefer tender and respectful to aggressive and dominant. (What can I say, I’m sheltered.)

If you have romance in it but leave it at cuddling on the couch or kissing, that’s fine, too.

Fandoms

Request 1: Anne of Green Gables

I like these books, though it’s been ages since I’ve read more than the first two or three of them – so I basically don’t remember the later ones where they already have children. So I’d prefer a story set in the time more or less up to the time when Anne gets married. (But Optional Details are Optional.)

For Diana/Anne, how about one where the two are snowed in and share a bed at night for warmth and... perhaps something more?

I have requested four characters, but the only one I would strongly prefer to include is Anne; the others are all optional (you can include any, all, or none of Diana, Marilla, and Gilbert).

I would prefer a story set in the time of the first three books, as those are the ones I know best.

Request 2: Monstrous Regiment

Ah, I love Pratchett!

I have no specific requests for this book – anything Pratchetty would make me very happy :)

Request 3: Calvin and Hobbes

I think I like Calvin and Susie best here :) So those are the two characters I picked. You can include Hobbes but don’t have to.

And from my signup:

If you want to, feel free to age Calvin and/or Susie up (to teenagers or adults, for example).

Feel free to write in German, Esperanto, or Slovak if you are fluent in those languages, especially if you speak them better than English.

Some ideas:

• Calvin grows up, settles down, and marries Susie.
• Rosalyn comes to baby-sit Calvin. Hijinks ensue.
• Calvin forgot Hobbes somewhere. His mother tries to help Calvin figure out how to deal with the situation.
• How does Susie feel about Calvin throwing snowballs at her or calling her names? Does she cry herself to sleep? Take it out on someone? Pour out her soul to a diary? What goes on inside her head when she has to deal with being picked on?
• Susie and Hobbes at the tea party.
• Calvin and Hobbes leave to planet Mars (or on a hike to Alaska, or ...), then later decide to come back, only to discover that there is just an empty field where the family house used to stand.
• Calvin gets his Hogwarts letter at 11 and ends up giving Fred and George a run for their money in terms of hijinks
• Calvin’s parents go out on a rare date while he’s safe at home with Rosalyn and, for once, doesn’t cause any problems. How is their evening?

I'd like to have at least one of Calvin or Susie in the story; you do not have to include both of them.

Request 4: Duolingo Welsh Course

I love languages, and Welsh is one of the more recent language I spent time one. I also finished the Duolingo Welsh course (and am currently working, not very avidly) on the Spanish course.

One thing that goes throughout the course is Owen and his obsession with parsnips. I’m sure everyone who has done the course will never forget the word pannas (much like anyone who has done the Hungarian course will remember the word óvónő “kindergarten teacher”).

But that’s not all. There are also other silly sentences, such as about the electricity on Sioned’s office not working.

Pretty much anything and everything here goes.

Whom does Owen marry? What’s the story with the parsnips? What was Owen like growing up?

What was the school like that he attended as a child? Was it English-medium, Welsh-medium, bilingual? What is his job?

(And why isn’t the electricity in Sioned’s office working?)

Request 5: Maritime Shipping (Anthropomorphic)

I was amused to see this fandom being requested. Write something about the Ever Given if you’d like :)

I followed the course of the Ever Given on a ship tracking site. I wonder what else it could have got up to?

What kind of life did the ship have beforehand? Was this the first time it did this?

Was blocking the Suez Canal a metaphor for PIV sex? Or cuddling? Or a secret tryst?

Was this part of an evil plan?

I only requested the ship, so the Suez Canal may feature in the story or not, as you decide.

Request 6: Sakeru Gum "Long Long Man" Commercials

If you haven’t watched the ads, they’re on YouTube with English subtitles here (6:22).

There are several clips, but they only give us a short glimps into the world of Chi-chan, Tooru, and Long Long Man.

What else can you tell me about this world?

What is Chi-chan’s job, exactly? Does Tooru enjoy gardening? Is Long Long Man single, or is Tooru just the latest in a long string of additions to a huge harem?
